Research Interests
Cognitive control refers to the ability to limit neural computations to goal-relevant information and inhibit distractions. The long-term goal of my lab is to elucidate the neural mechanisms underlying this essential ability and to translate those discoveries toward the development of techniques to enhance human cognitive functions. To pursue this line of research, the lab takes a multidisciplinary approach utilizing cutting-edge methods and techniques in systems neuroscience, experimental psychology, and neural engineering.
