Neural mechanisms of human decision-making; intracranial recordings

Research Summary

My research focuses on the combination of computational models of decision-making with electrophysiological data collection from neurosurgical patients undergoing invasive procedures. This goal leverages the strengths of in vitro electrophysiological recording and quantitative models of human decision-making to help elucidate the relationship between sub-second and oscillatory neural activity and reward-based behavior, mapped through a quantitative framework.
