I am currently doing research in the laboratory of Paul Knoepfler in the Institute for Pediatric Regenerative Medicine at Shriners Hospital of Northern California. I use murine transgenic models to study the function of a proto-oncogenic transcription factor, N-Myc. My research interests are in the molecular mechanisms of stem cell biology as they relate to both normal development and tumorigenesis. More broadly, I am interested in the development of molecular and stem cell biology applications in regenerative medicine.
